- Fascinating article. It sent me off to read the Wikipedia entry on neptunium which led to an investigation of plutonium 238 versus 239. PU 238 has a half life of 88 years and emits alpha particles. It is perfect for generating the heat used to make electrical power.

- Real estate is starting to sell in my area and that seems like a good sign. People that I know that work in health care have been gainfully employed since the great recession hit. I guess the field must be recession proof. The folks that have lots of money have done very well.
